GI Clinic Renovation
James H. Quillen VA Medical Center, Mountain Home, TN
Scope: BES Design/Build, LLC (BES D/B) provided all architectural and engineering services necessary to completely renovate 2,836 SF of Building 200 GI Clinic space into a suitable GI Clinical operations area. The area was evaluated and a program created to fully utilize the space in order to be more efficiently used by the VA Medical Center at Mountain Home, TN.
Work included some mild demolition, new metal stud / gypsum board corridor wall, new doors and frames, electrical / plumbing (including sprinkler) modifications, HVAC modifications, new suspended acoustical ceilings, lighting, and all required new finish work.
The project included the renovation of the waiting area, check-in reception area, the creation of a nurse vitals center, and the maximizing of space to create the most exam rooms possible. The project incorporated sustainable/green design to achieve LEED Commercial Interiors Silver Certification.
